Basic Format Information and Requirements

Thank you for your interest in the chunithm verse tournament at CEO Orlando this year! This section contains basic bracket information and tournament requirements.

The tournament will have a maximum of 16 players. The tournament will be single elimination style with your qualifier submission being your seeding for placement.

Requirements

You will need a spectator pass/admission for CEO Orlando 2026 in order to participate. Please buy one either for day of the tournament at the front desk or get the spectator pass online ($100 plus fees)
For the ability of playing master level charts for further levels in the bracket, an e-amusement pass with a functioning account is required (You may make an account before the tournament if you do have an e-amusement pass/aime/banapass but must be made before August 15th at 1:00PM to allow for tournament organizers to set up the game for tournament usage.)
Matches depending on the number of cabinets will be played as cab-to-cab if there are two, otherwise competitors will be playing on the same cabinet and will take turns for their sets.

Venue Information

The cabinets will be in the arcade area/jebaileyland in the project storm area.

Cabinets used should be running Chunithm: Verse and 120Hz refresh set to free play for 3 tracks per set. These cabinets will be available for free play all days of the event, the cabinet will no longer be free to play during tournament hours (August 15th starting at 1PM for tournament setup, with the tournament itself starting at 2PM) but resume free play for the rest of the event afterwards.

Prizes

Prizes will be for the top 3 of the tournament which are Shine trophies with extra prizes from artists such as MeowItsMari, MaidenAndTheMachine and MittenMeat, there will be no financial prizes due to this being a free tournament.

Qualifiers

Qualifiers will be announced on the day of CEO and will be posted on cabinets. You must show a picture of your score to the judge when you are finished to lock in your seed. Due to this being a more beginner friendly tournament, song levels will start at level 12.

The song for qualifiers will be selected at random from zetaraku, since Chunithm is scored on accuracy the score you get on the song will be your seeding placement for the tournament. Please give your result to a judge or DM Shay or Mechagai over social media with your score.

What if I cannot make it to the event until the day of the tournament?

Please contact Shay or Mechagai to get the qualifier song. This song can be played on a home setup or other cabinet (if you’re in Orlando, Arcade Monsters on International Drive has a cabinet with $25 freeplay. If willing to go further out to save money on freeplay admissions go to Neon Dreams Arcade in Largo, Fl for $15 freeplay with discounts for student, cosplay, and more. What if more than 16 people do qualifiers?

If there are more than 16 participants who do qualifiers, the top 16 of those qualifiers will go on to participate in the tournament.

Song list/Playable songs

For each round 5 songs will be drawn from Zetaraku (all songs available/up to verse) upper seed will ban first and then lower seed will ban, the finalized set competitors will play are the remaining 3 songs drawn.

Round of 16: 12, 12+, 13

Quarterfinals: 12+, 13, 13+

Semi-finals: 13, 13+, 14

Finals: 13+, 14, 14+
